A brief chronological review of Joe's history:
1. Grew up on the piano. Well, not ON it. More like NEXT to it. But
facing it for sure.
2. Spent several years playing classical music. Rock-solid chops baby!
3. Adolescence inevitably brought the hunger for other genres.
Primarily funk, rock, and jazz.
4. Went to Berklee College of Music. The ambiguous nature of the
Professional Music major allowed Joe to study everything from Film
Scoring, to Production, to Songwriting and Performance. Played in
several bands, including a southern rock/folk band, a female-led
R&B group, and a jazz fusion trio. Snobby music attitude is
cultivated and imprinted on Joe.
5. Moves to San Diego with Jazz Fusion trio Redux, and gets a HUGE dose
of the world as it actually exists. Degree turns out to be worth a
little less than the paper it's printed on. Does however acquire a good
amount of piano students. Snobby music attitude is OBLITERATED.
6. Moves to NYC, and becomes dedicated to writing and producing music
for artists, TV, film, and advertising. Complete and total acceptance
of selling-out has occurred.
And here we are. The niche has been found. Life is now a series of days
hunched over a computer with blood shot eyes, staring into the graphic
depths of Pro Tools and Reason, tweaking minuscule details within
each track that no one on Earth will ever notice. To see the fruits of
Joe's labors, check out the Music
Services page.
